Source-citation layer prototype
Layer 1 of a policy proposal for verified political accounts in India
This is a working demonstration of Layer 1 of a policy proposal that would condition platform verification for Indian political party accounts on participation in an automated source-citation check. The system does not assess whether a post is true. It checks whether each verifiable factual claim in the post is supported by a public primary source (ECI, PRS, PIB, RBI, MoSPI, CAG, etc.) and renders a small disclosure beneath the post.
Type a caption (or pick one of the preset claims), click publish, and the system runs an actual source check via the Claude API with web search. Try the “Paltering” case especially — it shows what the system catches and, more importantly, what it cannot catch by design.
